Christmas presents!

This is what my mum bought be today for Crimbo!  Ready for Scotland in the New Year!
My boyfriends parents live in Arbroath, Scotland. Were visiting them for the new year and apparently in some parts its snowing already!! -_-

MIGHTY Mouse?

What do you do when you spill coffee onto your Apple Mighty Mouse?

...you buy a new one. £40. Cheers.

Take That

...I would just like to state for the record, that I, Emily Jones tried from 9am til 1pm, and again from 3pm til 5pm to get Take That tickets. That's a total of 6 hours sat in front of Mac (the iMac). Eventually, at approximately 6:10pm, my sister finally managed to grab a pair of tickets.

What a load of bollocks Take That. We are, like, your biggest fans! :@

The Social Network.

What if, in an ideal world, you won the lottery?

Its something most people think about on a regular basis. I know I do. I imagine the feeling of finding out the winning numbers are mine, how I would react and most importantly, what i'd spend the money on. Someone has to win it right so why can't it be me?

So maybe it isn't the physicality of having money. Maybe its the psychology of it all. I mean, if you won 50 million for example you can do whatever you like, whenever you like. Its the power more than the money. So, what if there was another way of getting this power, by doing something extraordinary and working hard for the money instead of it being handed to you on a plate.

I was recently watching a Channel 4 Documentary called 'Child Genius: Five Years On'. A little lad called Kieron Williamson was dubbed 'Mini Monet' and 'the new Picasso'. He was only 8 years old but had sold a number of paintings and earned himself around £200,000 pre-tax(!) This got me thinking, I mean, he's 8 and has already made what I make in roughly 16 years! Crazy!

Yesterday I went to see the film 'The Social Network'.
It was one of the most interesting films I have seen all year and it made me think. Mark Zuckerberg (founder of Facebook) was just an ordinary Harvard student with ambition. He was pretty clever, i'll give him that but he had drive in him to succeed. If he did it, why can't someone else..?

End.
